Upsy Daisy

As I begin to get involved with my wife on a day to day basis, I am learning to be more creative with paper. I am, by training, a digital designer. I work with websites, digital imaging, electronic media. Paper-crafting, well, it’s not what I trained and not what I have worked with until now.

I want to be more involved in helping my wife build a sustainable paper-crafting career – and she is into stamping and card making – so it seems only right that I begin to learn how to do this art.

Here are some samples of my “thank you” cards that I made for my music ministry volunteers. I used a retired Stampin’ Up stamp set, “Upsy Daisy” and created the following.

I used Calypso Coral and Sassy Saffron and matched with papers for a coordinated look. My first card craft EVER.

I'm a music director in a church full time - and developing my next stage career on the side. I'm working toward my CTA and building a Travel Agency. My wife and I want to retire and do something we love together - travel and see places. We want to share that passion with others so building a travel company is our next stage dream. We're working on it now. We've got one son who is graduating high school and going to college at the same time - and we are host parents to nearly 12 exchange sons from around Europe, mostly Germany. So, we have a big family....sort of!
